Joseph Arthur Dillworth passed away January 17th, 2024 at 7:15 AM. His sons & granddaughters were very fortunate to have been with him in his final days. Joseph (Joe) was born January 12th, 1929 in Akron, Ohio to William Richard Dillworth & Beulah Delert. He met the love of his life & wife of 67 years, Lois Marsh, while serving as an airman in Pensacola, Florida. After serving his country, he moved his new family back to Akron where he attended Akron University & attained his Mechanical Engineering degree. He worked his way up the corporate ladder & later retired as an executive of Brunswick Corporation in 1980 at the young age of 51. For Joe, golf was a passion along with tinkering/fixing things. But, most of all, he loved gardening that he shared with the love of his life Lois. He even went so far as to modify his golf cart to pull a wagon allowing them to not only carry their tools but also bring back the fruits of their labor. Joe was preceded in death by his wife Lois & daughter Debra. He's survived by his son William, daughter-in-law Karen, son Glenn, granddaughter Kalie, her husband Joe & granddaughter Jamie. On February 9th, 2024 at 10:00 AM, Joe had an Honor Guard at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida & was placed for eternity with his love Lois.
