Mr. Garrison was born on September 1, 1956 in Starke and was a longtime area resident. He was a member of Morgan Road Baptist Church and worked as a Vinyl Siding Contractor. Survivors are: his wife of 30 years Diane Chastain Garrison of Starke; son: Joseph Eugene Garrison, II (Jamie) of Starke; step-children: Barbara Elliott of Lake Butler; Oscar Davis, II of Starke; Parents: Joseph and Vera Davidson Garrison of Starke; sister: Pamela Evans (Tom) of Starke; brothers: Mark Garrison (Nancy); David Garrison; Gary Garrison all of Starke; grandchildren: Justin Garrison, Jacob Garrison, Damien Davis, Kaylee Davis all of Starke, Todd Elliot, Jr., Amber Elliot, Ryan Elliot all of Lake Butler. Graveside services will be held in Dyal Cemetery on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Pete Thornton and Pastor Al Paulson officiating. Interment will follow services.
