GRIFFIN: Joseph Leslie Griffin, 72, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Mr. Griffin was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is a member of the American Legion and the Baptist faith. He was an avid Florida Gator fan cheering any team that beat the Georgia Bulldogs. He was a Carpenter by trade having built many homes in the area. He was also an Auto Technician for Arlington Toyota and Lexis for many years. Preceded in death by his son the late Joey Griffin, 2 brothers, Steve and Mike Griffin, numerous other family and friends; Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Penny Sue Albritton Griffin; 1 daughter, Sandra Griffin Rountree (Terry); 1 sister, Alice Griffin; 2 grandchildren, Bryce "Partner" Quinn and Hannah "Halfpint" Quinn.
