Joseph G. Howard

Joseph G. Howard, 84, of Gainesville, FL passed away on June 23, 2020 at Terrace Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was born to Granville A. & Esther Howard on December 6, 1935 in Wilmington, Delaware. Joseph worked as a metal smith in the US Navy for 23 years.He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Joseph and Bruce Howard.He is survived by his wife, Marie A. Howard, his son, William Howard (Velma), grandson, William Howard Jr., daughter-in-law, Kim Howard, granddaughter, Taylor McKinley, sisters Marie Lusk and Maryann Bell, and several nieces and nephews.A visitation will be held on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609 from 5-8pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 11:00am with a visitation hour starting at 10am. A procession to the Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32606, will follow.
