Joseph R. McLoughlin, 75, of Keystone Heights, Florida; formerly of South Attleboro, Massachusetts; passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 11, 2022. He is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Muriel (Travers) McLoughlin. He was the son of the late Thomas and Jeanette (Champagne) McLoughlin and was predeceased by his brother John McLoughlin. Born and raised in South Attleboro, Joe graduated from Attleboro High School in 1964 and served in Vietnam earning several medals. After his service, he worked as the manager of the iconic Jolly Chollys amusement park in North Attleboro. He went on to obtain his Associates Degree from Fisher Junior College. Joe worked at Balfour from 1981 to 1996 and then Herff Jones from 1996 until his retirement in 2011 designing class rings and sports championship rings. He spent many years making and selling wood toys and was a member of the Rockhill Crafts Co-op in Foxborough. He is also survived by his son Joseph and his wife Karen of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, his daughter Amy Switzer and her husband Steven of Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and his son Andrew and his wife Heather of Keystone Heights, Florida. His is also survived by his loving grandchildren Jordan, Zachary, Kayley, Mae, Jack, Conor, Ella, and Emily. He was looking forward to the birth of his first great grandchild this summer. He also leaves behind extended family and friends who loved hearing his stories and hearing him laugh. Joes greatest joy was taking care of and spending time with his grandkids. He proudly attended as many of their games, meets, recitals, concerts, and plays as he could. He loved taking care of his yard and his two cats Betsy and Lucy. One of his favorite moments was the Red Sox 2004 World Series Championship, something he never thought he would experience. He loved taking Sunday rides with his wife with no destination that always ended in a fun adventure and a story to tell. A Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. with a service beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the JJ Duffy Funeral home on Mendon Road in Cumberland, Rhode Island.
