Joseph "Jojo" Edward Phillips passed away at his brothers home Saturday, August 19, 2023, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born August 7, 1971, in Fernandina Beach to the late Donald and Patsy (Parnell) Phillips. Jojo was employed by the Bradford County School Board until his health began to decline. He was a member of Gadara Baptist Church and loved being outside fishing, hunting, and being with his family and friends. He loved having a great time and was always making everyone laugh. Jojo leaves behind his siblings Donna of Newberry, Wisconsin, Donald Phillips (Judy), Jessica Phillips, Michael Phillips (Angela Phillips- Cox) all of Keystone Heights, and Laura Waxman (Dale Waxman) of Ocala. Also left behind are a host of extended family members and friends that will miss his contagious smile.
