Joseph "Joe" Rogers Joseph Joe Rogers, 58, passed away on April 14, 2012 after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida on October 28, 1953. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, 1 brother and 1 sister. Joe was a member of East 11th Street Baptist Church where he was faithful until he became unable to attend. He was a member of Ezra Masonic Lodge #67 and The Riverview Order of Eastern Star #265, both of which he spent many hours of service. Joe lived to help others and died in peace. Visitation will be held Tuesday (Today) from 6-8 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in East 11th Street Baptist Church with his best friend and Pastor, Rev. William Crews officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
