It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Gabriel Simmons, of High Springs, who was taken from this world far too soon at the age of 24, on February 21, 2025. Born on June 25, 2000, in Tennessee, Joe, was known for his infectious laughter, vibrant spirit and kind heart. Joseph is survived by his beloved siblings, Lovenia Simmons, Isaiah Simmons, Elijah Simmons, Mataya Parrish, Levi Parrish, Robert "Trea" Hooey, III; his step-father, Robert Hooey, Jr., and his father, Benjamin Parrish.
