Mr. Joseph Hayward Stephenson age 100, of Starke passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Stephenson was born on September 2, 1921 in Guyton, Georgia to the late Thomas Ellis and Hattie OGerta (Braxton) Stephenson. Prior to retirement he was a Chief Petty Officer for the United States Navy. He was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maria Teresa Stephenson. Survivors are, his nephews, Thomas E. Stephenson, Jr. (Alice Sprouse) of Starke, Mark Stephenson (Tracy) of Lakeland, great nieces and nephews, Brian Sprouse, Oliver Stephenson, David Daly, Kaylee Stephenson, and Jazmine Sprouse.
