Josephine "Josie" Marie Allocco

Mrs. Josephine "Josie" Marie Allocco age 82, of Keystone Heights passed away May 10, 2020, at St. Vincents Clay suddenly. She was born July 8, 1937, in Worcester, Massachusetts to the late Nicholas and Philomena Arduca. She was a retired homemaker for Clay County Council on Aging. Mrs. Allocco had attended the First Baptist Church and enjoyed playing BINGO. She was known for her passion of baking and making cookies for everyone at Christmas time. Josie also enjoyed decorating her home for different seasons but most of all she loved being with her family. Mrs. Allocco is survived by her husband of 19 years Ralph Allocco of Keystone Heights ; four sons Robert Smith (Cindy) of Orlando, Brian Smith (Olga) of Atlantic Beach, Bruce Smith (Cindy) of Gainesville and Barry Smith (Julie) of Hampton. Also left behind are her siblings Connie and Phyllis of Spencer, MA, Barbara of Holden, MA, Tony of Worcester, MA and Joey of Myrtle Beach, SC. She was lovingly called "Nana" by nineteen grandchildren and "Great Nana" by twenty-nine great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
