Mrs. Josephine (Griffin) Clevinger, age 91, of Green Cove Springs, died Saturday, August 21, 2010 at her home.Born on July 15, 1919 in Hay Hira, GA she was the daughter of the late John T. and Cora Lee (Waters) Griffin. Mrs. Clevinger was a rental property owner in the Green Cove Springs and was a member of Russell Baptist Church.She is survived by her children; Bobby Everett of Savannah, GA, Becky Griswold of Frostproof, FL, Tony Everett of Seville, FL, Ruth Thompson of Green Cove Springs and Ronnie Clevinger of Jacksonville. She is also survived by many grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren. Mrs. Clevinger was pre-deceased by her husband Kermit Clevinger, and her daughter Janie Turner.Viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, August 24, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at the HELM-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 1811 Idlewild Ave., SR 16, Green Cove Springs.
