KALEFuneral services for Josephine Holland Kale, 99, who passed away on May 9, 2021, will be held Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32206 Pastor Maggie McDuffie and Dr. Keith Powell officiating. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.Mrs. Kale was born in Manassas, Georgia and was a longtime resident of Jacksonville, Florida. She was a veteran of the Womens Army Air Corps having served overseas during WWII. She was a member of Wesley Fellowship United Methodist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, the late Locke Hilton Kale and son-in-law, Rod A. Brewer. Survivors include her 3 daughters, Donna Kale Betancourt (Jose), Elizabeth Dean Kale Brewer, and Phyllis Kale Powell (Keith); 1 stepdaughter, Sara Ann Kale; 2 sons, John Hilton Kale (Barbara) and George W.
