Joyce Carol Allen Joyce Carol Allen, age 72, passed away on Monday February 17, 2014 in Jacksonville, FL. Joyce was born on September 8, 1941 in Litchfield, Minnesota to Edwin & Luella Marquardt. Joyce was a lifelong member of St. Pauls Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was baptized on October 5, 1941and confirmed into the church on April 3, 1955. Joyce was a retired accountant and she enjoyed puzzles, gardening, knitting and spending time with her family and friends. In the past Joyce had skydived, hot air ballooned and enjoyed traveling. Joyce is survived by her children Taylor Lee Allen, Deborah Allen Hickler & Todd C. Allen(Melanie); grandchildren April (Tony), Anthony, Amanda, Jason (Sam), Stacy, Joshua, Ashley & Jackson; 9 great grandchildren; her mother Luella Marquardt; sisters Barbara Defries (Dick) of Cokato, MN & Shirley Lietzau (Moon) of Coon Rapids, MN and other extended family members & friends. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2014 in Victory Lutheran Church, 4651 Kernan Blvd., S.
