Joyce Amburn, 91, of Lake City, Florida, passed away on May 22, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1932 to Cecil and Rosalee Kahlich. She was married to Billy E. Amburn.Joyce volunteered with the Cub Scouts as a Den Mother and with the Boy Scouts of America where she earned the Order of the Arrow and the Wood Badge. She was also involved with the Red Cross, was a swim instructor, and a hospital volunteer.She is survived by her husband, Billy Amburn; sons, Lynn Amburn and Richard Amburn; grandchildren, Jeff Amburn, Andrea Thomas, Josh Amburn, Richard Amburn, and Sydney Amburn; great-grandchildren, Jackson Amburn, Ryland Ross, Josephine Amburn, Wayland Amburn, Cullen Amburn, and Maverick Thomas; sister, Mary Kahlich; and brothers, Richard Kahlich and Eugene Kahlich.A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at the High Springs Cemetery, 23998 NW 182nd Ave., High Springs, Florida.
