Mrs. Joyce Conner Coleman age 82 of Starke passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Bradford Terrace Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Coleman was born on January 24, 1931 in Bradford County to the late W.R. and Pearl (Sapp) Conner. She was a Homemaker and a Foster Parent. She was a member of the Lawtey Church of God and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her husband of 54 years, Kenneth N. Coleman had preceded her in death. Mrs. Coleman is survived by; one daughter, Joyce Diane Coleman of Starke and two sons, Gary Nolon Coleman his Wife Gail of Keystone Heights and Thomas Edward Ed Coleman of Starke. Also left behind are her four siblings, Donald Conner, Nancy Coleman, and Betty Ann Griffis all of Starke, and Barbara Crawford of Kingsley Lake, 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Viewing for Mrs. Coleman will be Monday, September 23, 2013 between the hours of 6 and 8 p.m. in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel. Funeral services are 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 24, 2013 in the Sampson City Church of God with Reverend Gene Bass and Reverend Alton Coleman officiating.
