Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Huntley Rathel, 85, will be held at 10:00a.m. Saturday, August 28th in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S., with Len Sak officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.Born September 20, 1935 in Seligman, Missouri to Thelma and Benjamin Huntley, Mrs. Rathel died Saturday, August 21, 2021 in Jacksonville. She moved to Jacksonville in 1965, retired as an engineering accountant and was a member of Deermeadows Baptist Church.Survivors include two sons, Douglas E. (Robyn) Rathel of Atlanta, Georgia and Steven K. Rathel of Jacksonville; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends may call, at the funeral home, starting Friday the 27th.In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the City Rescue Mission.
