In Memorial JOYCE ELISE KEYTE STEWART MAY 30, 1929 - JULY 20, 2015 Joyce E. Stewart died in Jacksonville, FL on July 20, 2015, at the age of 86. She was born May 30, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Raymond Ransom Keyte and Mary Simon Keyte. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, William C. Stewart, a brother, Raymond L. Keyte, a sister, Patty Keyte, a son, Donald E. "Bud" Stewart and a foster daughter, Lori. She is survived by her son, William R. Stewart of Jacksonville, FL, his wife, Kathi A. Lilienthal Stewart of Jacksonville, FL her late son, Bud's wife, Maryann Kelleher Stewart Crysler of Hazel Park, MI, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. During her life she worked as an executive secretary to John Knight, District Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene in Orlando, FL, Chrysler Corporation in Detroit, MI, Midwest Wire Corporation in Ferndale, MI, and Rev. Joseph Biscoe, pastor of the Ferndale Church of the Nazarene. She was a foster mother for two special needs girls, Lori and Chris, for several years in the State of Michigan. With her husband she managed charities for Pastor Keith Butler at the Word of Faith Christian Center which was then located in Ferndale, Michigan. Her favorite times were listening to music, attending bluegrass festivals, and attending her grandchildren's baseball games or other events.
