Mrs. Joyce Waddell SuggsMrs. Joyce Waddell Suggs age 85, of Hampton Lake passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010 in Shands at Starke. Mrs. Suggs was born on July 6, 1925 in Jacksonville to the late L.J. and Winifred Cannon Waddell and moved to Hampton Lake in 1973 from Jacksonville. She was a homemaker and member of First United Methodist Church of Starke. Survivors are: her husband of 67 years Comer Knight Suggs of Hampton Lake; daughter: Nancy and Stanley Herrington of Jacksonville; son: Phillip and Glenna Suggs of Keystone Heights; sister: Sarah and Ted Johns of Lake City; brother: Maxie and Sandra Waddell of Orange Park; eleven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandson; numerous nieces and nephews; devoted neighbor and friends Bobby and Virginia Autry of Hampton Lake. The family will receive friends at the DEWITT C. JONES CHAPEL in Starke on Saturday, October 23, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with funeral services immediately following with Pastor Roy Vining, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Santa Fe Cemetery.
