Juana M. "Wanda" Silcox

Ms. Juana M. "Wanda" Silcox age 66, of Starke passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Shands Starke following an extended illness. Wanda was born June 11, 1951 in Lake City, Florida to the late Woodrow and Edna (Raulerson) Evans. She had been a resident of Starke for the past 20 years and was a registered nurse. Wanda is survived by her sons, Jimmy L. Silcox, Jr. (Ashlee Jenkins) of Lake Butler and Scott A. Silcox of Savannah, Georgia; brother, James Evans of Lake City; sister, Anna Green (Marcus) of Lake City; and grandchildren, Camryn A. Silcox and Haylee V. Silcox. She also leaves behind her best friends, Dorien Cothran and Darlean Fillyaw. The family will receive friends at the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with funeral services beginning at 12 oclock. Interment will be at Dyal Cemetery.
