Juanita Duckworth passed away January 17, 2015 after a long term illness. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Boulevard, South Jacksonville, FL 32216 on Thursday January 22, 2015 at 10AM with Pastor J. D. Templeton officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Duckworth was eighty six years old and a life long resident of Jacksonville, FL. She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty three years Norman E. Duckworth, Sr., her son Norman E. Duckworth Jr. and her daughter Susan Duckworth Brackins. She is survived by her daughter Janice Duckworth Cox, a son-in-law Ronny R. Cox, Sr. Three Grandsons; Ronny R. Cox Jr., Douglas F. Cox Jr., Samuel W. Duckworth. Two sisters; Billie K. Shelburn and Nancy (Jim) W. Baxley. A visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home between the hours of 6-8PM.
