Juanita Lane Wainwright

Mrs. Geneva Juanita Lane Wainwright, 88, of Starke passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. She was born on April 28, 1927 in Hortense, Georgia to the late Grooms and Mabel (Crosby) Lane. Mrs. Wainwright was a homemaker and longtime member of Pine Level Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and showing hospitality. She was preceded in death by her husband Norris C. "Chip" and her brother Thomas Lane. Her survivors are her son, David N. Wainwright and wife Jacqueline of Starke and daughter, Sharon Wainwright Carter and husband Arthur, of Hawthorne; two siblings, Alvin Lane and wife Jenny of Lake Butler and Dorcus Trull of Odum, Georgia. Also left behind are her six wonderful grandchildren, Kristopher Wainwright, Stephanie Chandler Brabson, George Michael Carter, Jenny Carter Mustered, Jerry Alan Carter and Dana Whalen along with eleven great grandchildren; Gavin, Beth, Jessica, David, Brittani, Hannah, Christina, Thomas, Peter, Alyssa and Jessica. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the DeWitt C. Jones Chapel on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Wainwright will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Williamson and Pastor Richard Johnson officiating.
