Judith "Judy" Short-Beninger

Mrs. Judith Ann "Judy" Short-Beninger age 80 of Theresa passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019, at Riverwood Health and Rehab in Starke. She was born June 19, 1939, in Gary, Indiana to William and Florence (Swan) Roth. Mrs. Beninger was a retired waitress and had been a resident of Theresa since 2009. She attended Keystone United Methodist Church and enjoyed fishing, cooking and socializing. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by husbands Albert "Dalbert" Beninger and John Short along with a brother Roger Roth and a sister Marilyn Jo Roth Weber. Mrs. Beninger leaves behind her daughter Vicky Holtom (Gary) of Keystone Heights and a son Jay Short (Debbie) of Shelbyville, Kentucky. Also left behind are three grandchildren and five great grandchildren Beth Holtom of Gainesville and her children Tyra Holtom and Maks Holtom Suarez, Courtney Schuyler (James) and her two daughters Alysson and Morgan and Caitlyn Henry (Ron) and their son Murphy all of Mystic, Connecticut.
