Judy P. Burnett Age 84 Of Keystone Heights

Mrs. Judith "Judy" Phalaine Burnett, age 84, of Keystone Heights, Florida, passed away Saturday afternoon, January 3, 2026, after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 9, 1941, in Elba, Alabama to John Elbert and Mattie Ruth (Maddox) Kemp.

Judy was an active and longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Keystone Heights where she enjoyed attending Bible study and volunteering for church events and humanitarian efforts. Prior to retiring she worked as a real estate agent for more than 30 years, representing several brokers and specializing in lake front properties. She enjoyed making many memorable trips with her husband Efird, but her favorite place was always at the beach.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands Edwin Harris Meadows, Jr., and Efird Burnett; her son Edwin "Eddie" Harris Meadows, III, and brothers Sam and Ted Kemp.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her son Robert (Joanne) Meadows, and grandchildren; Austin (Jessica) Meadows, Mikaela (Nicholas) Orsted, Sarah (Brandon) Mavrick, and Garrison Meadows, and three great-grandchildren; Emma, Elijah, and Lily.

Funeral services for Judy will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 15, 2026, in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Begue officiating. Interment will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
