Obituary

Mrs. Judy Kumcha Chambers, 84, of Keystone Heights, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026. Born on January 10, 1942, in South Korea, Judy's life was a testament to resilience, hard work, and devotion to her family and faith. Judy dedicated her life to the food service industry, where her unwavering work ethic and determination allowed her to excel despite the challenges of learning a second language. Her ambition and commitment to excellence set her apart in her field and left an indelible mark on those who worked alongside her.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judy leaves behind a legacy of love and care. She is survived by her beloved husband, George Chambers; her cherished son, Sam Chambers; her daughter-in-law Jennifer; four treasured grandsons-Mason, Dezmond, Troy, and Jaymz-and one adored granddaughter, Jeniah. She also leaves two great-grandsons, Avery and Mateo. Judy was predeceased by her sister-in-law Joan Mone and her parents.Judy's life was deeply rooted in her Christian faith. A God-fearing woman with strong beliefs, she found joy in worship and lived by the principles of kindness and compassion. Her considerate nature shone brightly as she consistently put others before herself. She instilled these values in her son and inspired all who knew her with her selflessness.

Outside of work and family life, Judy found happiness in gardening and landscaping. She had a natural talent for creating beautiful outdoor spaces that reflected her nurturing spirit. Family gatherings and barbecues were among her favorite pastimes-moments filled with laughter and love that brought everyone together.

Judy's outspoken nature and ambition were matched only by the depth of her care for those around her. She was a pillar of strength for her family and friends-a source of wisdom, encouragement, and unwavering support. Her presence will be profoundly missed but forever cherished by those whose lives she touched.
