Funeral services for Judy Smith Harper, 55, who passed away on August 10, 2015, will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. in St. Catherine's Catholic Church, 1619 Kingsley Avenue, Orange Park, FL 32065, with Fr. Rafael Lavilla officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-6 PM at George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with a Prayer service to be held at 5:00 PM. Mrs. Harper was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and was a current resident of Orange Park, Florida. She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church and was an avid volunteer at First Coast Women's Services. She was a very loving and caring person and was employed in the home healthcare profession. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland E. and Jean T. Smith, also her brother, Michael Smith. Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years, James M. Harper; 1 sister, Nancy Quina (Jobe), 1 sister-in-law, Shirley Smith; 2 brothers, Steve Smith (Terry), and David Smith (Jodi); Nieces, nephews and many friends.
