Mrs. Julia E. Wheeler age 80, of Keystone Heights passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Willey Manor Assisted Living Facility in Keystone Heights. Mrs. Wheeler was born on April 22, 1932 in McAlpin (Suwannee County) to the late Cleo and Lucille (Wood) Goff and moved to Keystone Heights from Jacksonville in 1972. Prior to retirement she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bradford Hospital now Shands at Starke. Julia was a member of Lake Hill Baptist Church and the Order of The Eastern Star. Mack Wheeler her husband of 54 years preceded her in death. Survivors are her children: Linda Wheeler Geer of Jacksonville; Mack R. Wheeler (Harriet) of Palatka; Larry Wheeler (Debra) of Orange Park; Randall Wheeler of Jacksonville; Jeff Wheeler (Renee) of Keystone Heights. She is also survived by her brother Butch Goff (Gail) of Jacksonville, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME in Keystone Heights on Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services for Mrs. Wheeler will be on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM in Lake Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Snell officiating. Interment will follow in Keystone Heights Cemetery.
