J. Annette Swift, 100, of Gainesville, FL passed away January 13, 2012. She was the wife of the late Col. William B. Swift, Jr.Annette is survived by her children Mary S. Burns (Bill) and Jonathan R. Swift (Sheila), 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Annette was a Veteran of WWII serving the the Women's Army Corp and attaining the Grade of TSgt with duties overseas in England and France, where she was awarded the Bronze Star.A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Faith Catholic Church, 747 NW 43rd Street, Gainesville, FL on January 28, 2012 at 9:00 AM.There will be a graveside service and burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Chicago, IL at a future date.
