June M. Banzhaf, age 82, of The Villages, FL, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022.Mrs. Banzhaf was born on September 25, 1939 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Madeline (Morency) White. She was a graduate of Central High School class of 1957, where she was on the honor society. She later graduated from Sacred Heart Hospital as a nurse and worked as a registered nurse for Doctor Bragg, then at the Elliot Hospital from 1972 to 1988, for Brookside Hospital in Nashua from 1989 to 1999 and then went into private home care until retirement in 2004. She was a member of the Always An Adventure Senior Group and a former Girl Scout and Rainbow Girl. She and her husband moved to Florida in 2020. She enjoyed traveling, motorcycle riding with her husband, gardening, reading, attending educational classes, helping her neighbors and working with her husband in his boat business.She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald Banzhaf, two children; Laura Lee and her husband Robert of Manchester, NH, Alan Wallace and his wife Marilyn of Dallas, TX, three step-children; John Banzhaf, Holly Fitch and her husband David, Thomas Banzhaf, all of West Palm Beach, FL, three grandchildren; Monica (Wallace) Hall, Eve (Wallace) Miller, Sherree Wallace, four step-grandchildren; Chelsea, Jenny, Austin, Ryan and three great grandchildren.Mrs. Banzhaf was predeceased by a daughter Audrey and son Dana.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to CHaD (Childrens Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization) https://dhmcalumdev.hitchcock.org/CHaD.
