June Hurlbert Funeral services for June Hurlbert , 85, who passed away on October 6, 2013, will be held Tuesday (TODAY) at 2:00 PM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206, with Elder Bill Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Mrs. Hurlbert was a native of Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Rufus and Irene Mathews. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Walter S. Hurlbert; 2 daughters, Melanie H. Jones (Robert), and Leslie K. Hasbrouck (John); 1 son, George H. Hurlbert (Linda); 5 grandchildren, John Hartman (Marilyn), Brock Hurlbert (Tonya), Toni Hurlbert, Ashley Hasbrouck, and Travis Hasbrouck; 4 great-grandchildren, Gianna Hartman, John W. Hartman, Waylon Hurlbert, and Baby Skylar who is on the way.
