Mrs. June Hope McCoy age 87, of Keystone Heights passed away, Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Gainesville at the E.T. York Care Center. Mrs. McCoy was born in Jacksonville on August 11, 1926 to the late Jason and Elizabeth (Roundtree) Fish. She was a homemaker, and member of Trinity Baptist Church. Mrs. McCoy loved music which led her to teaching herself how to play the piano and the organ; she had also written songs which were often used at church. She loved her family but most of all she loved the Lord. Her husband Dewey Jim had preceded her in death. Survivors are her four children; Chip McCoy of Columbus, Ohio, Skeet McCoy of Keystone Heights, Deby Starr of High Springs, and Rocky McCoy also of Columbus, Ohio; four siblings; Pat Corbett of Green Cove Springs, Billy Fish (Christine) and George Fish (Rhoda) all of Jacksonville, and Robert Fish (Phyllis) of Newark, Ohio; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Viewing for Mrs. McCoy will be Monday, October 14, 2013 beginning at 2:00 p.m. with funeral services following at 3:00 p.m. in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Peoples officiating. The burial will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to the Windsor Manor Nursing Home Activity Department, 602 Laura St. Starke, FL 32091 in memory of Mrs. McCoy.
