Mrs. June G. Robinson 83 of Melrose passed away at her home Wednesday, May 25, 2022. She was born October 19, 1938, in Savannah, Georgia to the late James and Lessie Mae (Griner) Lariscy. Mrs. Robinson retired as a nurse working for St. Lukes, Riverside, University, and Putnam Community Hospitals. She and her husband were members of the Advent Christian Church in Jacksonville before making Melrose their home. Mrs. Robinson grew up fishing with her family and continued fishing until her health began declining. She also enjoyed bird watching, painting, and other various craft projects. Mrs. Robinson leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 65 years Raymond E. Robinson and their three children Paul E. Robinson (Ellen), R. Mark Robinson, and Penny S. Robinson all of Melrose, along with her brother James Lariscy of Jacksonville. She was lovingly call "meemee" by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2022, in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Chaplain Tim Senter will be officiating and interment will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
