Donna Lynn Murphy Crews, 41, and her beloved daughter Kaelyn Scelesta Crews, 10, both of Keystone Heights entered fully into the presence of their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 21, 2016. Donna was born July 5, 1975 in Austin, Texas. She graduated from Keystone Heights High School and the University of North Florida. Donna was a true servant with a huge heart full of Gods love for others. She was in the seventeenth year of her career as a nurse. Her nursing career began at Shands AGH and then continued at University of Florida Health in the CICU. She was a very active and faithful member of First Baptist Church Starke, where she served as a pianist, choir and praise team member, the Amplify Drama Team and childrens church volunteer. Her life impacted so many, through her love for Jesus, family, and others. She enjoyed singing, nursing, eating, playing/coaching basketball and being a wife, mother, and friend. She never met a stranger or a food she didnt like. There was never a dull moment with "Murph" at home, work, church or anywhere. She lived life to the fullest and inspired others to live, love and laugh, but most of all she gave the best hugs! Her favorite life verse in the Bible was Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Joseph and Linda Murphy. She is survived by her loving husband, Joshua Crews and her beautiful daughter, Ashlyn Elizabeth Crews both of Keystone Heights, along with her brother, Christopher (Betsey) Murphy of Melrose and several nieces and nephews. Kaelyn was born August 29, 2006 in Gainesville. She was a 4th grader at Hope Christian Academy, where she was also a member of the cheerleading squad. She was an active member of First Baptist Church Starke where she sang in the childrens choir and was part of the Amplify Drama Team. She loved Jesus, her family, and friends with all of her heart. She enjoyed gymnastics and serving others, but most of all she loved her baby sister and best friend Ashlyn. She was always concerned for the needs of others, and served them with a sweet, loving, and gentle spirit. She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Rev. Joseph and Linda Murphy. She is survived by her father, Joshua Crews and her sister Ashlyn Elizabeth Crews both of Keystone Heights; her grandmothers, Peggy Crews (Yaya) of Starke and Lucinda Murphy (Nana Lu) of Melrose, her grandfather, Randy Crews ( Papa R) of Starke; her uncles, aunts and beloved cousins. A Celebration of Donna and Kaelyns lives will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Scott A. Crook officiating.
