Kate Marie Duefield Age 83 Of Keystone Heights

Mrs. Kate Marie Joseph Duefield, age 83 of Keystone Heights passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 3, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1943, in Zanesville, OH, to the late Osborne and Elzabeth (Nickels) Joseph.

Mrs. Duefiled was a hard worker with a long career as an assembler and inspector in the medical manufacturing industry.

She met her husband 40 years ago in Florida, and they built a beautiful life together. After spending three decades in Windsor, NH, they moved to Keystone Heights, ten years ago, where she continued to embrace life's simple pleasures.

She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed walking on the beach, camping, loved dancing but most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Kate was a loving caring person who always had something pleasant to say about everyone.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband Donald Duefield; son, Everett Barnett his wife Kim; daughters Theresa Hoffman her husband Rick, and Georgiana Marks; brother Bernard Joseph along with her sister Joan Duvall. She was lovingly called "Grandma Kate" by her precious six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 15, 2026, in the funeral home chapel beginning at 1:00 p.m. and funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Bobby Epps officiating. Interment will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
