Funeral services for Mrs. Katharine Ann Bales, 83, widow of Clarence D. Bales, will be held at 10:30a.m. Thursday, in Jacksonville National Cemetery, with Dr. Terry N. Collins of Southpoint Baptist Church officiating.Born August 24, 1936 in Norfolk, Virginia to Leila and Loyd Brannon, Mrs. Bales died August 10, 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Survivors include two sons, Gary Thomas (Heather) Bales of Orient, Ohio and Stephen Allan (Patricia) Bales of Harrisburg, North Carolina.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of George H.
