Katherine Ann Dotson, 67, of Mt. Airy, Georgia passed away, at her home, on Monday, August 4, 2014 following an extended illness. Katherine was born September 18, 1946 in Boston, MA.Mrs. Dotson was of the Catholic faith. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and loved the beach and the Great Smoky Mountains. She and her husband, Michael, enjoyed traveling as much as they could.Katherine is survived by her husband, Michael; daughter, Theresa (Traci) Howell (Tim); sons, Christopher (Becky) and Michael (Jaclyn); step-daughter, Courtnie Dotson; sister, Patricia White; brother, Donald Poskus (Josephine); three granddaughters, Cheyanne, Lily, and Harper; and three grandsons, Levi, Bennett, and Colin.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2014 at 1:00pm at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel, 725 NW 23rd Ave., Interment will follow at Forest Meadows Memorial Park Central, 4100 NW 39th Ave. There will be a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Forest Meadows Funeral Home.
