Mrs. Katherine "Kay" McKinley, age 86 of Starke passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Windsor Manor Nursing Home in Starke. She was born in Burlington, New Jersey on February 25, 1928 to the late Thomas and Ena (Ireland) Davidson and was a housewife. Mrs. McKinley was a member of the First United Methodist Church in which she was active in the Womens Circle,Prayer Group, and helped organize the United Methodist Womens Bazaar; she also enjoyed volunteering at the Starke Hospital, local food bank and meals on wheels. Her husband of 65 years, Harold "Mac" McKinley had preceded her in death in 2011. Survivors are her daughters, Katherine Jean McKinley of West Point, Pennsylvania, Nancy McKinley Bull of Newark, Delaware, Betty Anne McKinley of Pennsville, New Jersey, and Laurie McKinley Smith (Dan) of Starke. Also left behind is her brother Kerr Davidson (Roxanne) of Burlington, New Jersey, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A memorial reception will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 200 North Walnut Street in Starke from 3:00 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.
