Mrs. Katherine Campbell TuckerMrs. Katherine Campbell Tucker age 84 of Starke, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Emeritus Senior Living Facility in Orange Park. Mrs. Tucker was born on September 1, 1927 in Archer City, TX to the late Fred C. and Alva M. (Lawler) Cambell and moved to Starke in 1958 from Tulsa, OK. She was a bookkeeper and member of the Starke Womens Club and the First Baptist Church. Katherine was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Neil L. Tucker. Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Steve Edmonds of Jacksonville, her son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Laurie Tucker of Fleming Island; sister: Almeta Sanders of Knoxville, TN; grandchildren: Alan Tucker of Atlanta; Claire Tucker of Tallahassee; Joshua Edmonds of Lakeland; Lindsay Edmonds of Jacksonville. The family will receive friends at the FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH in Starke on Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 Am with funeral services beginning at 10 oclock. Interment will follow services in the Crosby Lake Cemetery Mausoleum. Reverend Ben Bryant will officiate.
