Kathleen L. Horton, 89, passed away on January 28, 2025. She was born in New York City on May 1, 1935 to Karl and Myrtle Klee. She moved to Florida in 1972. She worked as a Licensed Practice Nurse at the Division Hospital in Lake City and at North Florida Regional Hospital for 14 years.She is preceded in death by her husband, Reginald; son, Joseph Horton; daughter, Virginia Murphy; sister, Marie Cunnup; and grandchildren, Adam Campbell, John Lee III, Henry Lee, Teresa Bessett, Brian Lieneman, and Billy Murphy.Kathleen is survived by 5 children, Shirly Campbell of Ocala, Florida, Donna Harden (Dennis) of Trenton, Florida, Viola Travis (Robert) of Trenton, Florida, Reginald Horton, Jr (Cheri) of Ocala, Florida, Kathleen Kingston (Ron) of Lake City, Florida; son-in-law, Gary Murphy; brothers, Dr. George Klee of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dr. Karl Klee of Pennsylvania, Richard Klee of Elmira, New York, Dr. Fredrick Klee of Phelps, New York; sister, Christine Arnold of Elmira, New York; 14 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren.The funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Forest Meadows Funeral Home Chapel with Karen Warriner, M.
