Kathleen Reilly-Fulton

Kathy Reilly-Fulton, beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and teacher died suddenly on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at North Florida Regional Medical Center.Kathy graduated from Plantation High School in 1976 and the University of South Florida in 1981 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Elementary Education. While in college, Kathy worked at Learning Space, an early childcare center in Temple Terrace. It was there Kathy discovered her love of teaching pre-kindergarten students. After graduation, Kathy taught in the Tampa Bay Area until returning to Ft. Lauderdale to continue her life's work as a Teacher.Kathy was an ESE teacher at Village Elementary and Croissant Park Elementary Schools until retiring in June 2015. "Miss Kathy" will be fondly remembered by her students and their grateful parents.Kathy's love of teaching was matched by her love and skill in the kitchen. She created delicious meals & baked goods in tiny kitchens to the delight of family, friends & coworkers. She collected and read cookbooks like novels.Kathy was preceded in death by her father, George T. Reilly, brother George J. Reilly and infant sister Jeanmarie.Kathy is survived by her husband, Terry Fulton, mother Patricia Reilly, sister Maureen Costigan (Mike), sister Colleen Reilly, and niece/goddaughter Meghan Costigan Golden (Blake).Visitation is Monday, April 11, 3016 from 4-6pm at Forest Meadows Funeral Home, 725 NW 23rd Ave, Gainesville. Service will follow at 6pm, Father John Phillips, celebrant.Contributions in Kathy's memory may be made to the George T.
