Mrs. Kathryn Dolly Meldrum 91, of Keystone Heights passed away in Gainesville on May 30, 2011. She was born Kathryn Magill Beynon on May 26, 1920 in Oaks, PA to the late David Richard Powell Beynon, Sr. and Kathryn McMullin Magill. Dolly received her training and worked as a Registered Nurse at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia. Her job included treating military personnel who were severely wounded in WWII. While working, she met and married Thomas Wilson Meldrum, Sr. MD (deceased 1998). They were married for 50 years. Dolly and Tom had residences in Keystone Heights and Orange Park since 1963, and permanently resided in Keystone since 1988. Dolly was a devoted wife to Tom, devoted mother to her children, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was also a loving and caring person to friends and her community. Preceded in death were her sister Margaret Emma Beynon and her brother David Richard Powell Beynon, Jr. She is survived by her 5 children; Tom Jr. of Alexandria, VA; Dave of Buda, TX; Jill of St. Augustine; Bill of Vienna, VA; Don of Keystone Heights, 5 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Dolly will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 11 Oclock in the Faith Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at the Keystone Heights Cemetery.
