Kathryn Holland Stanland

Born April 5, 1931 to the late William Tullis and Carolina Holland in Blue Springs, Ala.Entered her Heavenly home July 17, 2015.Kathryn was very active in the ministry of First Baptist Church, Lake Wales serving in many areas. She was employed by Waverly Growers and First Federal Savings and Loan of Lake Wales where she was a customer service specialist.Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband Jason E. Stanland, sister Anne White Parlier and brother Jerry R. Holland. She is survived by her son Scott J. Stanland, wife Cindy of Keystone Heights, FL. Grandsons Jason Stanland, wife Nicole, of Tallahassee, Fl. Matthew Stanland, wife Erin, of Gainesville, Fl. and Jonathan Stanland of Keystone Heights, Fl. Great-grandchildren, Mason, Julia, Elijah and Landon.As in 2 Timothy 4:7 where we read these words "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:" Mom finished well, not without challenges along the way. Yet truly, she has heard from her Savior, (Matthew 25:21) "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Lake Wales. Family and friends will be received at 2:00 pm, with the celebration at 3:00 pm followed by burial at Lake Wales Cemetery. Rev. Scott Stanland and Rev.
