Mrs. Kathy Nell Drawdy age 57, of Starke passed away Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs. She was born on October 4, 1951 in Homestead, Florida to Paul Denver and Jeanette Clemmons Prescott, and was a lifelong resident of Bradford County. Mrs. Drawdy was a retired convenient Store Manager, and member of Sampson City Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Doc Drawdy. Survivors are: sons: Chris Thornton of Starke; Russell Pop Eye Thornton of Woodbine, GA; sister: Wanda Hodge of Brooker; brother: Johnny Prescott of Starke; nine grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Drawdy will be on Monday, July 20, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Sampson City Church of God with Reverend Gene Bass officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Dedan Cemetery.
