Keith Faulk, 55, longtime High Springs resident, went suddenly to be with the Lord on Monday, January 23, 2017. He was a native Floridian, having served with distinction and pride for 2 years as a police officer with the Gainesville Police Department and over 25 years with the Alachua County Sherriff's Office as a Sergeant . While at the Sheriff's Office he served as Hostage Negotiator, Dive Team Member, School Resource Officer, Agricultural Deputy, Public Information Officer and Bicycle Team and Patrol Sergeant. He was a lifelong member and past president of the North Central Florida Police Benevolent Association, Fraternal Order of Police Gator Lodge # 67, past member of the Gainesville Jaycees, member of First Baptist Church of High Springs. He was an avid outdoorsman and golfer. His hobbies included: fishing, hunting and diving. He was a great son, brother, father, husband and G. P. friend, neighbor and servant to the community. He always placed the needs of others before his own.Survivors include: His wife of 29 years, Michele Faulk of High Springs; 2 sons: Bryan Keith (Kaci) and Brandon Lee Faulk both of High Springs; Grandchildren: Kymber and Tanner; Mother: Marge Faulk of Gainesville; a brother: Tommy Faulk of Jacksonville; 2 Sisters: Susan Regalado of Gainesville and Debbie Parker of High Springs and his beloved dog Fergie.Celebration of Life Services will be held at 5:00 PM, Friday, January 27, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of High Springs with visitation 1 hr prior.Arrangements by Evans Carter Funeral Home High Springs, FL 386-454-2444.
