Mr. Kenneth Eugene Crawford age 76, of Starke passed away Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Haven Hospice E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville. Mr. Crawford was born in Bradford County on April 26, 1938 to the late Zary and Reba (Conner) Crawford and was a lifelong area resident. Kenneth was a member of Sampson City Church of God and prior to retirement worked for Ploof Truck Lines as a truck driver. Preceding him in death was his wife Jewell (Bennett) Crawford who passed in 1999. Survivors are: his children: Darlene Stokley (Bob) of Lawtey, Randy Crawford of Gainesville, Ronald Crawford (Eva) of Morristown, TN, Donna Sullivan (Danny) of Starke, Danny Deitz of Silva, NC and Denise Dries (Joe) of Silva, NC. He is also survived by his siblings: Eloise Jackson of Starke, Mariam Faulkner of Starke, Ronald Crawford of Ft. Walton Beach, and Larry Crawford of Orlando, fourteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at SAMPSON CITY CHURCH OF GOD on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 from 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11:00 AM also at Sampson City Church of God with Pastor Gene Bass officiating. Interment will follow in Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
