Kenneth Fanton

Mr. Kenneth "Henry" Fanton 76, of Keystone Heights passed away suddenly in his home Tuesday, April 24, 2018. He was born in Western New York to Raymond G. and Mildred (Perry) Fanton and grew up on a dairy farm. He worked at the Chevrolet dealership in Wellsville, New York and owned Fanton's Auto Repair until 1998, when he and his wife Cyndi moved to Keystone Heights. He then worked at the Chevrolet dealership in Starke as an automobile mechanic until his retirement in 2007. Following his retirement you could find Mr. Fanton "tinkering" around the house, in his wood shop, or taking care of the property, which he loved doing. Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Cyndi; two daughters Patti (Brian Collins) Tritt of NC and Kathy (David) VanEtten of NY; son Ken Jr. (Carrie) of Keystone Heights; seven grandchildren John Tritt, Jennifer (Jeremy Bentham) Tritt, Christopher (Nicolette) Watson, Jillian (Dustin) Cole, Samantha VanEtten, Jacob Fanton, and Kollin Fanton; seven great grandchildren, as well as two brothers Lester R. (Joan) Fanton and James (Barbara) Fanton of Wellsville. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Robert G. Fanton. At the request of Mr. Fanton his services will be private and the interment will be in Stannards Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E.
