Pastor Kenneth "Ken" E. Hagar, Jr. age 66, of Grandin passed away Friday, October 20, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville. He was born in Winchendon, Massachusetts on January 6, 1951 to the late Kenneth E. and Phyllis (Chase) Hagar, Sr. and had owned Hagar Painting. The Believers Harvest Time Ministries Church was started by Mr. Hagar in 1990; the church would meet in Mr. Hagars home every week, later the land for the church was donated to them and then they moved into their debt free building in Grandin where he pastored many years. Mr. Hagar enjoyed working in the food pantry ministry and he was involved in the ministry at Crystal River with Embassies of God International working through Reverend Simone Noel. He had in the past taken ministry trips to; India working with Bishop Rak, Nicaragua, Europe, Netherlands, Belgium and Holland. Mr. Hagar also enjoyed football, fishing, biking and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Hagar; sister, Jackie Martin; and son in-law, Robin Miller. Survivors are his wife of 38 years, Rosalee (Parrish) of Grandin and their three children; Coreena Miller of Keystone Heights, Eric Hagar of Grandin and Amie Hagar of Orange Park. Also left behind is a sister, Linda Harroll (William) of Brooker; a granddaughter, Corie Miller and two grandsons, Kamden Miller and Sabastian Miller. There will be a memorial service for Mr. Hagar at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 340 E. WALKER DR.
