Obituary

Mrs. Kimberly "Kim" Ann Haugdahl, age 50, of Keystone Heights passed away in Gainesville following a brief illness. Kim was born in Ft. Lauderdale on July 7, 1964 to the late George and Martha Hammerer. She has been employed with Penney Farms Retirement Community for over seven years and was raised Catholic. Kim loved watching movies with her family; seeing the deer in the mornings and growing flowers, she especially loved sun flowers. Kim loved her job, she enjoyed being with and around people all the time; she was a "people person". Her brother Terry Steffy had preceded her in death. Survivors are her husband of almost 17years, Michael B. Haugdahl and three children, Brian William Haugdahl and Brandon James Haugdahl both of Keystone Heights and Bernadette Haugdahl of Starke. Also left are her siblings, Susie Hammerer of Portland, Oregon, Tyrone Steffey, Gary Steffey, Sandra Pennington, and Bobbi Pilott; niece, Cheryl Stevens of Keystone Heights; mother-in-law, Patricia Haugdahl of Pembroke Pines and father-in-law, Sigurd Haugdahl of Keystone Heights. Kim was a loving wife to Michael and wonderful mom to her three children. A memorial service for Kim will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 10, 2015 in the Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home Chapel.
