Lafayette C Sapp

Mr. Lafayette C. "L.C." Sapp age 92 of Starke passed away Monday, July 25, 2016 at Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center. L.C. was born on March 12, 1924 in Bradford County to the late Ellery and Gladys (Hicks) Sapp and was a lifelong area resident. He served in the United States Army during WW II. Prior to retirement he worked as a welder for General Motors and was a self-employed cattle and hay farmer. Mr. Sapp was a member of Northside Baptist Church, the Bradford/Union County Cattlemans Association and Farm Bureau Association. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of over 68 years, Alice Cozzett (Gordon) Sapp. Survivors are: daughter: Angie Sapp "Jack" Fultz of Starke, sons: Richard "Debbie" Sapp of Starke and Glen "Patty" Sapp of Punta Gorda, sisters: Marlene "Jim" Conaway of Middleburg, and Katrina "Gilbert" Lawson of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Northside Baptist Church on FRIDAY, JULY 29, 2016 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am with funeral services beginning at 11 oclock. Interment will follow in Dyal Cemetery with Pastor Toby Roehm and Reverend Ron Kimbrell officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gideons Bible Ministry, P.O.
