Memorial services for Lamarre Johnson, Sr., 68, who passed away on August 5, 2015, will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, Jacksonville, FL 32206. Mr. Johnson was born in Jacksonville, Florida and was a lifelong resident. He was a Ship Builder by trade having worked at local shipyards here in Jacksonville. He was a member of the Baptist faith and is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Sharon A. Johnson; 1 son, Lamarre Johnson Jr., (Valerie); 2 granddaughters and 5 great-grandchildren.
