Larry Carl Colgan

Mr. Larry Carl Colgan, 77 of Green Cove Springs, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. Mr. Colgan was born April 19, 1940 in Jacksonville to the late Burrell Emory and Jewell (Whitehead) Colgan. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps, and worked at NADEP at NAS Jax. His wife, Margaret (Travassos) Colgan preceded him in death in 1998. Survivors are his sons, Larry Colgan of Healdsburg Ca and Jorge Colgan of Jacksonville Fl, brother, C. LaRue Colgan of Fleming Island Fl, sister, Elaine Bazley of Jacksonville Beach Fl, as well as 2 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Helm-Gallagher Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Penney Farms Cemetery with Pastor James Pringle officiating.
